Marble Countertop has most visual appealing surface. Marble counter top can also be categorized as expressive material. Marble countertop has a wide range of colors, textures. Coupling with a right finishing, a marble countertop can fit in virtually every type of ambience. Marble countertop does have certain limitations owing to its porosity. There is no sure way of ‘proofing’ marble countertop against staining from colored fluids, but marble countertop is virtually the only choice for marble dominated marble bathroom decorations.  Whether in kitchen or bathroom, the owner should be prepared to maintain any types of natural marble countertop periodically. 

Travertine Kitchen Countertop Bathroom Countertops Vanity Table Tops

Travertine Countertop has unique features that no other stones can offer. Distinctive designs of travertine creates the most distinguished countertops. Travertine countertop is the most natural decorative surface. As travertine countertop contains visible porous spots, they should be filled before being installed in kitchen or bathroom. The travertine countertop is not as hard as a granite countertop. It is not as good as granite countertop in stain resistance either. So regular maintenances for travertine kitchen or vanity counter tops are necessary. In general, It is not highly recommended  to use travertine countertop in most kitchen applications.

DIY: Is It Easy to Install marble granite kitchen and bathroom Counter tops?

Handling marble granite kitchen counter top and bathroom countertops may not be quite relaxing. However, we are doing our best to make installation of our countertops achievable for non-pro installers. In general, pre-fabricated marble granite kitchen and vanity countertops are finished in two ways, with front and one side (left or right) edge finished or laminated for wall-to-open application, or only front edge finished, which is suitable for between-walls application in kitchen or bathroom.

Standard width of pre-fabricated granite counter top is 6.5' or 8'; while standard depth is 26" for kitchen and 22" for bathroom vanity countertops. You can use a circular saw to cut and a regular grinder to smooth the unfinished sides to make an exact fit.

We will, however, fabricate kitchen or vanity counter tops of any custom size, shape and edge option, including stone kitchen islands. For custom size, you need to provide us with detailed drawings. Sink and faucet holes are optional. We will drill holes on kitchen or vanity counter tops if requested and hole dimensions are provided.
